A Day in the Life

Kaylin likes to keep a tight schedule
Step One: Empty an entire bottle of vegetable oil all over the kitchen
Step Two: Empty every item of clothing out of every possible drawer
Step Three: Color on as many doors/walls as possible
Step Four: Pull every book out of the bookshelf
Step Five: Give yourself a swirly
Then, of course, repeat as many of these steps as possible tomorrow

Halloween!

Brea was very specific about her requirements for her Halloween costume this year (ok, ok, LAST year).  She wanted to be a "Repunzel Nina-corn Rider."  For those of you that don't speak Brea, a nina-corn is a unicorn.  Thanks to her favorite horse at Thanksgiving Point, she thinks that all horses are named Nina; so naturally a unicorn is really a 'nina-corn.'
Here she is performing some sort of spooky Halloween number with her preschool class.
It's a family tradition to go golfing Halloween afternoon before heading out for some trick-or-treating.  Brea always wears her costume, and this year she happened to run into a herd of "reindeer" on the first tee.
Who would have guessed that  Repunzel has such a nice golf swing?
With that little scoot of hers, we knew that the only choice for Halloween costume for Linny was a monkey.
My mom always makes up for Jordan and I being too lame to dress up with her awesome costumes.
I don't want to brag, but that Shrek jack-o-lantern on the bottom step is mine.  Yeah, I've got mad skills.

Linny Turned One!!

In October! Of last Year!
Don't feel too bad for her that it took me so long to blog about it.  We lived it up on her special day...
It started with a doughnut picnic for breakfast~

followed by presents (mostly opened by Brea)~
Then daddy took half a day of work off to take us out to lunch and to the zoo~

For dinner Kaylin invited all of her grandparents to join us for dinner at her favorite restaurant... Market Street Grill... where she enjoyed her very own bowl of clam chowder~
A birthday just wouldn't be complete without a visit from Mr. Napkin Head~

Then we headed home for more presents and cake (also made by Market Street...how could I resist when their giant chocolate cakes are so delicious and affordable?)~

What a perfectly adorable little one-year-old!!
